Of course, her best-known novel is <em>The\nHandmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>, and that would have been a great addition to this series\ntoo. But <em>Alias Grace<\/em> has grown on me over the years since I read it,\nbringing me back time and again to the question of what about our personal\nstories is true and false. This is a fascinating story, based on a real-life\nmurder that took place in Canada in the mid-1800\u2019s.
